Opening hours : usually Wednesday – Sunday: 12.00 – about 6:00pm and by appointment. Exhibitions normally run for 1 or 2 weeks or occasionally over 3 weekends.
Drinks with artist : by arrangement, usually on one day of the exhibition's opening week.
if required gallery hm will:
host the exhibition’s page on the gallery’s website
produce invitation cards and do mailout and emailing
provide a listing in Art Almanac and Art Collector magazine
prepare and distribute a media release
staff the gallery during opening hours and supervise sales
organise and staff "drinks with artist"
provide basic tools and materials
provide public liability insurance
Artists are responsible for:
installing the works
dismantling the exhibition
arranging and paying for insurance and transportation of the works
returning the Gallery space to pre-exhibition condition
(all reasonable assistance will be provided by Gallery staff in these matters)
Costs:
Package as above is negotiable and depends on commission rate and artist/s involved plus any other relevant factors.
Exhibitors are encouraged to consider advertising and other additional promotional activities.
A non-refundable deposit of 10% is required on the application's acceptance.
